Elaine Wunderlich received an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education in from Concordia University, River Forest IL. She received a Masters Degree in Reading/Linguistics and Management from Northern Illinois University in 1972. She has over 14 years experience teaching students in grades 1-12 in IL and MD. During that time she served on curriculum development teams, served as a state officer of the International Reading Association, evaluated a graduate reading program for the State of Illinois and taught at Kishwaukee Community College during the summer months. She also was active in bringing computers into the DeKalb IL school system, serving on the K-12 Computer Curriculum Design Committee and teaching many inservice sessions for teachers.

In her 12 years of experience as a government employee, she evaluated training systems throughout the world. She also developed a data base to track the status of a large number of projects, a database to link employee data with work responsibilities for a large division in a British government agency, edited several newsletters for internal distribution on the Web, and managed the collection of data for a large personnel project, designing a means to collect data electronically from employees working throughout the world.
