We went back to see the cheese factory, and it was really hard to
photograph inside. Actually, both of us failed to set the white
balance to "inside light". |
 |
The cheese was sure yellow. We bought some for ourselves and
persons we visited. |

First view of the coast after Tillamook. |
 |
I guess there is no leash law on the Oregon coast. |
 |
And off we go. The seascape to the right was about an hour
and fifty minutes down the coast. And just then, . . . |
|
A pleasant chap in a tourist information station told us not to
stay in Tillamook because it was a cheese processing city and the odorous
smell of cows grazing in the pasture would be disturbing. As you see
from the map above, we would have had to drive a way to any town
beyond, so we took a chance and found a place in Tillamook. He was
right about the cheese factory, but town smelled just fine. |
